Okay, so we know that LIFE HAPPENS: you get sick, your car breaks down, you have a fight with your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/same-sex-lover, you start your period that day, you're hungover from last night's party, you're in Denver on another shoot and it's snowing and the airport is shut down, your kids are sick or need to get to school, or you just don't feel like dealing with a photo shoot that day!

We understand. For us, we get to the studio half an hour early to get everything set up and ready for YOU. So if you're 15 minutes late we haven't just been sitting around waiting for 15 minutes but for almost an hour. In addition, many models are interested in working with us so when we book a shoot with YOU we are turning down someone ELSE. So if you are a little late or are a no-show we get a little frustrated.

We respect models that call us when they can't make it to the shoot... the earlier they call us the more we respect them. We don't get mad, we don't yell and scream. We know that crap happens—it's happened to us too :) What we don't respect is a model who schedules a shoot with us, confirms the day before, then doesn't show up and doesn't call. We always give models a second chance for a shoot if they've been professional and called.

We WILL NOT give models a second chance if they just don't show up. You will lose your deposit and go on my FLAKY MODEL LIST so any photographer/designer/producer who asks about you will get our FLAKY MODEL STORY.

Bottom line... if you're 15 minutes late and we haven't gotten a call from you letting us know you're on your way we will shut down the studio and move on to other things. If you're a total NO SHOW then don't bother contacting us again - YOU'RE ON THE FLAKY MODEL LIST.

We are not mean people but have wasted too much time on flaky models that we have to be firm on this.
